Many advocates of modern Liberalism don't keep in the same ideology as original Liberals at all anymore. It seems that Liberalism has become a synonym for a Socialistic agenda. The most horrible thing is that American people don't decipher between the two. Kids grow up thinking it's cool to be "liberal" whenever it's the conservative of yesteryear and Academia is there to back it up.

Luckily, Conservatism shall always remain to keep us from progressing anywhere. Whether it's reminding us that monarchy is a God-given tradition, that only property owners should be allowed to vote, or that the rich should be even richer off the sweat of others' labor, Conservatism has been there since Ancient Greece and shall sadly persist even after the Sun burns out.
