Wait for a Revolution. They're 100% backwards compatible with the Gamecube. (You can even still plug in gamecube controllers.)

Well actually I use [url=[link] I bought my license back in the day before stuff like bytecontroller existed, so I figured I should use it.

So I've actually never used bytecontroller.

The name is put on there from OS X's fast user switching function. Head to Apple -> System Preferences -> Accounts, then click the lock at the bottom of the window to Authenticate yourself, click "Login Options" on the left hand side of the window, click the bottom radio button labeled "Enable Fast User Switching", and click how you want your name displayed.

The iBook icon on my desktop is a custom one that I made. I took one of the stock iBook images from Apple's website, took out the white background, added some nice glossiness, and exported it as an icon.
